With Barbie sales being down roughly 16% in 2014, Mattel has being doing everything in their power to increase sales and get back on top. In comes the collaboration with fashion brand Moschino, the two linked up for the limited edition Moschino Barbie Doll recently and it appears to be a hit with the doll selling out within an hour of its release. It isn’t the doll that has folks talking tho it’s the ad which features a young boy playing with the doll. When asked his thoughts on the ad, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott said:
“Like every girl and gay boy, I loved Barbie.”
