President Obama is the first to do a lot of things while in office and now he can add being the first sitting President to grace the cover of an LGBT magazine. President Obama covers the latest issue of “Out” magazine as “Ally Of The Year”. The magazine chose the POTUS because of the strides he’s made to legalize gay marriage and more. The magazine said:
“This president and his administration have ushered extraordinary change into the lives of LGBT Americans. President Obama’s evolution on marriage equality has been something to behold. He came to office reiterating that marriage was an institution reserved for a man and a woman, and continued to hold that line throughout most of his first term.”
