Two lives were cut short over the weekend in senseless shootings. Douglas Brooks aka Swipey was shot and killed early Sunday morning after shots rang out at an apartment complex in Suitland, Maryland. When police arrived on the scene they found Swipey suffering from gunshots wounds. He was later pronounced dead. Swipey who had recently worked with Fat Joe and fellow Maryland rapper Wale was only 18 years old. Later Sunday night in Los Angeles, “Kid Cali” was shot and killed leaving a pool party hosted by fellow rapper “Kid Red”. Kid Cali real name Justin Lishey is said to have gotten into some sort of altercation at the party before the shooting started. Celebs like T.I, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown offered their condolences on social media. Kid Cali was 30 years old…..ugh just senseless!!!
